***STARTING OCTOBER 23***

Join the CRASH LEGO Discovery Club and explore the exciting world of physical science, engineering, and creative problem-solving through hands-on challenges using LEGO BricQ Motion Prime kits.

This weekly club gives students the opportunity to build, test, and experiment with models designed to demonstrate real-world STEM concepts like forces, motion, momentum, and interactions. Using engaging, hands-on LEGO builds, students will learn the fundamentals of mechanical design, scientific inquiry, and teamwork—no screens or coding required!

Each session blends instruction and open-ended exploration. Students will spend the first part of each meeting learning about physics concepts and building techniques using guided challenges. The second half of each session offers "free build" time, where students can experiment, iterate, and test their own creative designs in a fun, self-directed environment.

🧱 What's Included:

  • Access to LEGO BricQ Motion Prime kits (one per student or team)
  • Hands-on physical science experiments and challenges
  • Weekly guided lessons with experienced instructors
  • Team-based collaboration and creative design projects
  • All materials and tools provided

🕒 Club Schedule:

  • Meets once a week for 1 hour
    • 25 minutes guided instruction
    • 30 minutes exploration/free build time
    • 5 minutes clean-up and reflection

👥 Who Should Join: This club is perfect for students ages 6–10, whether they're new to LEGO engineering or building on previous experience. No prior knowledge is required—just a love of LEGO and a curiosity for how things move and work.

🎯 Learning Outcomes:

  • Understanding of forces, motion, and physical interactions
  • Structural engineering and mechanical design
  • Scientific observation and testing skills
  • Teamwork, creativity, and hands-on problem-solving

By the end of each cycle, students will not only improve their engineering skills—they'll also build confidence, curiosity, and the ability to think like young scientists and inventors.

💡 Why CRASH? Crestview Robotics and STEM Hub (CRASH) is a nonprofit focused on providing real STEM experiences to local youth. We use hands-on tools and project-based learning to give students the edge they need for future tech careers. This club is more than just building—it's the start of something bigger.
